Very few things provoke you to say proudly "I was there to see it". World cup soccer is one, sans doubt. The other one was "Commanding heights" - a documentary on rise of free-markets over other forms of economy screened here yesterday. Though you can find the online version of this, a nicely edited two-hour version was just fantastic. Intercepted with a few timely comments from our prof., the show was an "edutainment".
Term-2 is a lot more interesting. We have strategy games to play (not the age of empires series) on marketing, some really good documentaries shown, some nice (and some not-so-nice) class discussions etc etc.
There are quite a few blogs which talk about professors in Term-1 and hence I do not want to repeat the stuff here. The grades are coming out and the campus buzz is "How have you fared?". That makes me gulp.
