Vaca-shun

"Never in my whole life have I written so much crap about so many things in so little time". That just about sums-up the speed-writing contest we had the other day at ISB. The office bearers here though took a slightly different opinion and named it the final exam for pricing, which incidentally happens to be one of our Term V electives. However, little did change as an effect. As the greatest playwright said, "A rose by any other name smells as sweet". A speed writing contest, by any other name...stinks, just for the simple reason that the 400-odd 20-somethings here have very little reason to pay 16 lakhs to sit for one.

If you brush aside the fact that the college starts right on Monday, that we have 2 project submissions on a subject due before then and that I have around 5 assignments to be done on my independent study, I should say that I have some 388,800 seconds left for myself in my if-you-choose-to-call-it "break".

Sometimes I do feel that ignorance is bliss and education is an unnecessary evil imposed on itself by humanity.
