Placements @ ISB

I am still to figure out a reason for having HR people in a company. Not even after taking a full course on Managing organisations (whose grades inter alia motivated this post) could I appreciate the reasons for their necessity. The HRs of the companies which make a beeline to the ISB to make offers put up their JDs (Job Descriptions) for the benefit of the students. Whether they really give a true picture of what one will do in a company is still a question. Nevertheless, I had a good laugh over a number of them. Here is a smattering to get the idea through:

(Note: All job desriptions are posted AS IS, with the spelling errors, if any)

* Professional : should be good in messaging...
(Get your cellphones or your laptops with the messengers to the interview!)
* Have inner desire to gel in cohesive team and work for business growth...
(This one needs to see your deepest, darkest desires. Keep out)
* Ability to blah blah blah and participate in industry forums
(Oops! I'd never qualify for the job. Industry forums translate to "a day off from office" for me)
* A geo-facing role which would involve providing support to the front ending sales team... (Watch out. They'll make you lie on your back for the other roles!)
* Good 'execution' abilities...These are very involving positions and require the Consultant to position himself in mentally and physically in the shoes of a business owner...Must have had expience is running the operations
(Sorry. I have better places to place myself physically)
* Must have had expience is running the operations (tracking requitments, predicting requirements, processes to fulfill requirements, bringing in systems that improves optimal use of resources)
(Looks like you need to "predict" requirements)

This takes the cake, though:
*2 Years of post-MBA experience preferred
